I have natural wavy hair and I would say that my way of maintenance is quite easy. I know some people have problem maintaining it. In case you still looking for a way to maintain your natural curly or wavy hair, here’s a simple tip that you might find helpful. In fact this is what I’m doing all these while. It is less frizzy and the curls are awsome!

Do not comb your hair after hair wash instead comb your hair before you wash your hair. If you still want to comb it, use big teeth comb, don’t go for small one and comb once or twice is enough to avoid the static that can cause frizz. Dry your hair after hair wash with towel(don’t rub but just soak up as much wetness as you can) and then twirl your hair into sections, big or small is up to you. Then let it dry naturally.

Curly hair can take a while to dry so give yourself enough time before you have to leave the house, especially if it’s cold outside! Paint your nails, play Foxybingo.com, or watch some television while you wait. Don’t get impatient and rush for the blow-dryer! It will spoil the effect.

Once your hair is dry, it will be less frizzy and the natural curls will looked better also.

Many thought that I perm my hair in the salon but in fact it’s my natural curls with very minimum maintenance. I don’t use hair styling product also. If you want to, you can. Apply it to your hair before you twirl your hair and let it dry naturally.

Hopefully this tip will more or less help you a bit. This is just some tips from me, you can get more
What if you coloured your hair brunette and the colour isn’t that intense anymore? I found one tip that is quite interesting, using coffee!

1. Set aside 1 cup of coffee. Let it sit for hours if possible.
2. Mix it with your favorite shampoo and apply to your wet hair.
3. Leave it on for 5-10 min. Rinse and style. The coffee will just give you a deeper refreshed looking color.

I wear contact lenses, sometimes applying eye makep-up is a bit of hassle because I’m worry that it might hurt/irritate my eyes especially the mascara and the eyeliner. Here are some tips that I found quite useful:

1. I read somewhere before that you must apply your make-up first before you wear your contact lenses. This is dead WRONG! It’s not logical at all! You should wear your contact lenses first before you apply your eye make-up because if you don’t, how are you going to put your contact lenses in later with all the mascaras and eyeliners?

2. Apply less make-up to your eyes as it will irritate your eyes.

3. Use eye make-up that is fragrance-free and free from any oil.

4. Use non-oil-based mascara, which is also waterproof. This will prevent any chances of flaking. Oh dear… I just bought of new mascara that I don’t think it’s waterproof… I forgot to check about it before buying.

5. Be sure to replace your old mascara and eye make-up with fresh stock every 6 months. This will help in preventing contamination. Hmmm… I didn’t practice this though This is bad! There’s no way I can replace my eye shadows every 6 month right? I don’t think it includes eye shadows. As for mascara and eyeliner, I’m aware of it.

Recently I got a jar of The Natural Source Daintree Green Tea Purifying Body Whip.

We all know that it’s not hygenic to dip your fingers into that big jar when you want to apply it to your body because it will contaminate the whole jar. For me, I could use this for at least half year or more. Therefore, I need to find way to avoid contaminating the whole jar with my fingers.

I found out that I kept a small empty eye cream glass jar that I didn’t want to throw away because it’s soo cute! I cleaned it and then use clean plastic spoon(the spoon where you can find when you dine at KFC) to scoop the body whip into the small jar. That way I won’t risk contaminate the whole big jar. The product will last longer for good.

Also, you don’t have to buy those spatula also, you can use those spoons for your face mask, hair mask and so on without using your fingers. Just be sure to keep the spoon clean.

A bit of recycling will go a long way for mother earth. So do your part.
