Make Your Own Cranberries Lipgloss

Found this very interesting recipe for making your own lipgloss which is totally free from harmful chemical. It’s all made from things that are edible. This yummilicious cranberries lipgloss recipe is suggested by the US National Honey Board.

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon of honey
1 drop of vitamin E oil
1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil
10 fresh cranberries

Instructions:
1. Mix the honey and oil together in a pot with low heat until it reaches to the brink of boiling.
2. Stir cranberries into the mixture and remove from heat.
3. Gently crush and mix the cranberries until they are lukewarm.
4. Strain and pour the mixture into a small container or empthy lipblam tube before it cools.

DONE! You got your very own yummy lipgloss and I’m sure your kisser will be gald that he’s kissing something edible *LOL*

Turn Rubber Gloves To Rubber Bands

Found this interesting tips to recycle your rubber gloves, I’m not sure how well it works though as my rubber gloves are still new, maybe after it worn out, then I’ll experiment with it:

Can’t find a rubber band when you need one? You’ll have nearly an unlimited supply by recycling your old rubber gloves. With a pair of scissors just cut them horizontally into a variety of bands sizes. The wrists make big ones and the fingers make small ones. They are so strong and do not disintegrate after a few months like traditional bought ones do!

Reuse Glass Jar For Beauty Products

Recently I got a jar of The Natural Source Daintree Green Tea Purifying Body Whip.

We all know that it’s not hygenic to dip your fingers into that big jar when you want to apply it to your body because it will contaminate the whole jar. For me, I could use this for at least half year or more. Therefore, I need to find way to avoid contaminating the whole jar with my fingers.

I found out that I kept a small empty eye cream glass jar that I didn’t want to throw away because it’s soo cute! I cleaned it and then use clean plastic spoon(the spoon where you can find when you dine at KFC) to scoop the body whip into the small jar. That way I won’t risk contaminate the whole big jar. The product will last longer for good.

Also, you don’t have to buy those spatula also, you can use those spoons for your face mask, hair mask and so on without using your fingers. Just be sure to keep the spoon clean.

A bit of recycling will go a long way for mother earth. So do your part.

Make Your Own Honey Lipgloss

Actually I saw this on TV just now. I think it’s really a good idea. It’s not only a great beauty tip but can save our environment too.

What you need?
1. Honey
2. Pippet
3. Empty lipgloss bottle with the cap of course(the type with brush), you can recycle or you should be able to buy a new bottle which you can get from shops or pharmacies(seen it before if not mistaken).

How to do it?
1. Make sure you clean your lipgloss bottle and the brush throughly. Also make sure that it’s really dry.
2. Suck up the honey using a pippet and fill the lipgloss bottle with it.

DONE! You got your own lipgloss!

Why is it good?
1. Honey doesn’t contain any harmful chemical like what we might(don’t know how much we consumed already hahaha…) get in our usual lipgloss. It has great moisturing properties to keep your lip soft and hydrated.
2. It’s cheap and easily obtainable straight from our kitchen in case you run out of lipgloss when you need one.
3. You can get the same glossy effect.
4. Recycle!

Lastly, hehehe… Guys are actually quite relunctant to kiss a lip with so much gloss because it’s not a pleasant experience at all, it’s messy! With honey lipgloss, I’m sure your boyfriend or your husband will like it too! It’s honey, it’s edible, it’s sweet, it’s colourless, it’s not harmful to the health. GREAT!
