Hahndorf-Part 1

Posted on April 26, 2011April 30, 2011 By sweet surrender 3 Comments on Hahndorf-Part 1

YAY! Finally I’m in Hahndorf. It’s about half hour drive from the city if I recall correctly.

Not gonna say much, I’ll just let the photos do the talking ;p

One thing for sure, the place is nice and relaxing.

Autumn is the best time to go because the trees are changing colour. Very nice scenery.

Camwhore of course hehehe…

Left: My fav flower, tulips. It’s my very first time seeing a real one. Don’t you think it looks fake? It’s real. Found it in a shop.

When you are there, you must feast! The generous portion of German food was really generous. We had ours at The Hahndorf Inn Hotel. The place of packed and the reservation list was full! The lady whom got us a seat was really really friendly and gave us very good customer service. I guess it’s because of my charming friend *LOL*

We had A Taste of Germany Platter (AUD59.90). Holy smoke! It was huge, can feed at least 3-5 people. There were only 3 of us and I’ve never eat so much pork in my life! Really tasty but very salty too. We had to drink plenty of plain water after that. The menu stated that it serves 2 but it’s really too much for 2 for people like us.

There’s Bockwurst, Weisswirst, Cheese Kransky and Vienna sausages, smoked Pork Kassler Chop and Pork Knuckle. Served with Rhine potato, sauerkraut, 2 prestsels, and a selection of German mustards.

2 thumds up for it. This is my most expensive and luxurious lunch so far. We couldn’t finish the sausages and brought it back with me.

Part 2 coming…

Blogging since 2002. Anything before 2006 is no longer available. It is no longer on this server. Back then, I built my own blog and updated it using HTML. No database or anything. Only started blogging fully with a CMS in 2006. However, whatever was on the Internet will stay on the Internet. So... It should be still somewhere on the Internet. Then again... Why do you want to dig that far?
