Everyday Minerals Samples, Second Batch

Posted on October 9, 2008October 9, 2008 By sweet surrender 21 Comments on Everyday Minerals Samples, Second Batch

Remember the first post of Everyday Minerals free samples that I told you before? I ordered the second batch on 26th September and I finally got it today! I was expecting it to come later due to Raya holidays and rough estimation based on the first order.

This time it came in bigger package as I ordered the brushes too.

Here you go!
Postage: USD5.30
Brushes: 2xUSD6
Samples: FREE
Discount: 5% (always check their Specials page before ordering to get discount code)
Total: USD16.70
You can order them at EverydayMinerals.com. They don’t pay me to write this hahaha… Just that it’s something nice to share with all of you.

I selected the 2 new colours in olive range for foundation and also the new concealer. I don’t have time to test them out yet. Wait till after my exam or Penang trip πŸ˜‰

Now I have 6 shades of foundations.

The thing is that… Now it came in bigger jars! WAH! However, they still contain the same amount of powder. I got this from their site:
Mini jars and temporary sample jars will be used for sample kits until 10/30
So? Want to get the bigger jar? Make sure you order within October. However, you might still get the mini jar, depends on your luck I guess…

Concealers and blushers. Bigger containers are new batch; smaller containers are the first batch.

My collections hehehe…

That’s it! No more order, I have no money in my Paypal anymore too ;p Just withdrew the whole thing few days back.

Will blog about each of them when I have the time to experiment with them.

And I was just thinking of ordering a second batch! They have new darker foundation shades for olive. I can do this mineral foundation thing, yes I can.

Hey, if you and luxferi (and other local EM users) are interested, perhaps we can swap the samples that we don’t use?

    October 9, 2008 at 11:05 pm

Gette, yea… Hey, why don’t we find a day and experiment with the colours to get the right foundation colours ;p Also have to wait till we experiment the colours to see which one we are to keep and which one to swap *LOL*

You know what, my sis and her friends even decided to order the eye shadow sample kit and they split, each choose few colours. It’s like everyone is getting nuts over this ;p

    October 9, 2008 at 11:14 pm

    Yeah, we could do that.

I’m pretty sure there’s probably a better shade or better way of applying that I’m missing. I’m a little better at it than I was two weeks ago, but still a novice!

Also, splitting out the kits make perfect sense. I’d rather just order something else to try if I know I can borrow a sample from one of you.

    Hehehe… We’ll find a day for it.

Billy, it’s free, you are looking at the wrong thing ;p Go to “make up” -> “custom kits” and you will see. I did the same thing as you before, looking at the wrong place.

It’s free, just pay postage. πŸ˜‰ However, you can take advantage of getting other stuffs along with your free sample most of the time the postage won’t have much difference.

Gette, the swap sounds good, though I think none of mine will interest you – but I’ll bring them along should you guys ever want to meet up. πŸ™‚
