I bought Liese Bubble Hair Color Dark Chocolat after seeing Anna‘s post in Facebook ;p Thought of changing my hair colour but I can’t afford to get it done here, sooooo expensive! Also, I don’t want to spend my money in buying the hair coloring kit here even though it’s below AUD20 ;p
I decided to try this out by searching for it on Ebay and bought a box for USD16.49, well… More expensive than what I can get here as sometimes when it’s on special, you can get it at AUD10. Problem is, this brand is not available here. In case you’re wondering, it’s made in Japan.
The box consisted of:
Hair Color Agent 1 40ml
Hair Color Agent 2 60ml
Treatment lotion 4ml
Pump Head
Gloves
Anyway, finally I coloured my hair with it on Monday evening. Spent 2 hours in the bathroom for everything.
My first time coloring my own hair. It’s quite hard to do it in the beginning but once I managed to get the mixture covered my whole head and the bubble getting more, it’s quite easy. You don’t need to get help from others unlike the usual ones. It’s just like shampooing your hair so you can easily get everything covered without missing any part. After getting the whole bottle of mixture on my head with lots of bubble, I left it for 30 minutes and then wash it off. After that, I shampooed and used James Brown Intensive Mask for Hair for the treatment. Then, I applied the hair lotion included in the box before blowing my hair dry.
I bought Dark Chocolat reason because I’m afraid that bright colours might got me into trouble if I didn’t manage to colour it properly. Also, I didn’t want major change of colour, so I went for the safer colour hahaha… Not only that, when it grows out, at least it’s not that obvious since I won’t be cutting my hair maybe until I go back to M’sia ;p
The smell is pretty strong. It teared me when I did it in the beginning. Once I got used to it, it’s fine. However, at the end of the whole thing, my whole apartment smelt of the dye hahaha…
By the way, I did the allergy test(need to leave it for 48 hours) on Friday night and I didn’t pass the test. I applied the mixutre on my inner arm, not even 10 minutes, it itched like crazy and I quickly washed it off. According to the instructions, I should not proceed with colouring my hair yet I took the risk. I’m soooo stubborn! Luckily nothing happen, no itchiness or anything when I did the colouring. Hmmm… Don’t say I never warn you. If you decided to use this and had allergy reaction(s) to it, better don’t use it.
The final result, I quite like it. Not that obvious unless under bright light. The effect is just what I want to achieve. So… Camwhore!
It’s been a loooooong time not posting my photo hehehe… This is fresh out from the camera, was taken on 25th Oct before heading to class. As you can see, the colour isn’t that obvious but my hair is definitely not black anymore.
I do recommend this hair colouring kit but it doesn’t provide grey coverage. Not that I need that, I don’t need that. Just that in case you are looking for something to cover your grey hair, this is not the one you can use.
If not mistaken, you can easily find this in Malaysia. It should be cheaper than getting it online.
Will I use this again? I will but just hate the process because colouring your own hair can take quite long and quite tiring *LOL* I’m soooo lazy hehehe…
I tried this not long ago too.. Bought together with Annna when I was in KL. The results similar with yours but.. I should have left it longer instead cos my hair “eat” the color very slow.. 😀
ahlost, hehe… I didn’t dare to leave it too long, quickly washed off when the time’s up.
