Rice is staple food in Asia. We have rice daily. It’s our daily food. To some people, if they don’t get to eat rice for a day, they will feel that they haven’t eat enough. Only rice can satisfied their hunger. Luckily I’m not like that ;p This bowl of rice is not plain rice but garlic rice.

I’ve never had garlic rice, but the thought is making my mouth water.

I used to dislike rice very much as a child. Maybe it was the way my mom cooked it, lol. I love Basmati rice, but I am not much of a rice eater. I think American rice is disgusting!
Good choice for today! I am amazed at how often Asians eat rice and never seem to get tired of it!

I am Asian too and I could say rice is for me, in any variations. ^_^

yes, rice is Asia’ staple food. in the Philippines, a meal without it is lacking. everywhere you go, on any occasion, you see rice. but it’s been a big contributor to the growing diabetes patients.

I like rice, but I certainly don’t get it daily. I did have some last night though. This looks very good. Sorry I’m a day late getting to your post, but great take on the theme.
