Another type of lamp design that you can find in the market for the Chinese wedding.

During the olden days, they would be using the kerosene lamps. Nowadays, there are many modern designs available. They are made from various materials and lighted up with electricity.

The lamps are placed in the room of the newly-wed. It symbolizes the couple will have son(s) when they have kids. The lamp will only be turned on during the wedding day.
