Photo Hunt: Chipped

January 24th, 2009 · 10 Comments

How clumsy was I? I dropped my one week old glasses that cost hundreds and had to fork out another 40 plus to replace the chipped lens.

Nice take on this weeks theme! I hate when I have to replace my prescription lens – they cost way to much money!!

we have the same idea on this week’s theme. :)
I’ve been using mine for 6 years now. :)

Ouch! That must have put a big chip in the wallet, as well.

I did Photo Hunters today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit.

I had no idea glasses could do that so spectacularly. Mine only leave my head at bed time or by accident. I suppose I’m lucky to not have chipped them.

Oh dear! That is quite a big chunk of lens missing. It makes for an interesting photo, though.

are your lenses glass or plastic? I swear by the latter becoz I’m prone to dropping mine.

saint3, it’s glass, the light type. Yea… For those who kept dropping their glasses are better to go for plastic.

Wow! That is a really bad chip! Great photo for the theme, but I guess it was an expensive one. Frameless glasses are generally more prone to chipping…

    :) Indeed expensive.
