It’s 2009! Happy new year all the Photo Hunters!
I hope this little candle will light up your life and give a little hope to those in need.
This photo was taken during the major power outage in Kuching that lasted almost 6 hours at my area.
Couldn’t watch tv; couldn’t online; had dinner using torchlight and with some candles; go to toilet with torchlight; had cold shower; nothing to do so played around with my new camera that I got just 8 days ago to test the shoots and they all turn out quite OK because of the IS.
Location: At home.

Surprise power outtages can be annoying. But after one comes to terms with it, they can be times of rest, reflection and often even surprising socialibility — I speak from experience as someone who had to live with regular power outtages in the two years I lived in East Africa… ;S
