Abhi, hello there, nope I was in the middle of my class that time, so I just simply take some photos of it, since I don’t have a tripod, I can’t go too close because it will surely be blurred with my shaky hand hahaha… The pattern part, yes, I do agree with you.

Irene, did you try composing this shot in some other ways as well? More of a 3/4 view with some of the seaweed doodles coming out of the bag maybe, with the macro cropped in even more tightly? The braids on these things could make for an interesting pattern.
