Curlier & Fuller Hair

November 18th, 2007 · 4 Comments

I have natural curls but I had permed it. However, I’m going to let it grow out and cut it soon. Maybe after I got back from KL or before I go to KL next year. Here’s a tip to make your hair fuller and curlier whether you have straight hair or have natural curls like me:

When curling your hair with a curling iron, constantly alternate the direction of the curls (curling outwards/curling inwards). This will make your hair look fuller and curlier.

If you curl all in one direction, it will cause the curls to mesh together after a short time and flattening your hair straight even if you have loads of hairspray.

Don’t forget to curl the hairs along your face outwards to accentuate your face.

Well… This tip is impossible for those with very curly hair though.

linda, hope you will find it useful, fine hair is a bit hard to style too. Well… No harm trying it out. :)

Hey, any idea where I can buy a good curling iron (preferably either the ceramic or tourmaline type) that gives big curls? That will be the 1.5″ - 2″ model, will it not?

Ivy, hmm… No idea, it depends on how much money you want to spend on it. You can either go for those well-known electrical appliance suppliers/manufacturers or if you want some the salon pro are using you might want to go to places like Vidal Sasson and so on. I think those from Panasonic and other brand names that produce electrical appliances are good enough.
